Long, long ago in a Wintery clime

A woman with child was nearing her time

A child who would bring hope to the world

A messenger of peace and love to observe,. And,..              CH

We know of a stable, we know of the land

We know of the city, across desert sand.

We’ve heard there were shepherds

We’ve heard there were kings

We’ve heard there were angels

And they were heard to sing,..     CH

VS 3

And what of that child who was born on that night

A heavenly gift, to the world a new light

For all of the good things He said and did

He showed great love for us, our fears to rid,..so,..             CH
