Anything You ask in My Name

At a gathering at his table

Jesus spoke these words to his followers

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life

No-one can come to the Father but through me

And if you really know me

In me the father you would see

I am in the Father, and the father is in me…so…

Anything you ask in my name – I will do

And all you forgive in my name – I will forgive

For you are the fruitful branches of my Fathers vine

So anything you ask in my name – I will do

And if you truly love me, and obey the commandments

I give to you, I will ask the Father and he will give you another

The Spirit of truth who will be with you always

And anyone who loves me, and will be true to my word, who lives out my commandments

The law of love they must observe,…then… CH

Vs 3

And now that it is time I go from you – don’t be fearful or distressed.

Peace is my gift I give to you all. I go now to my Father, come rejoice for me!

And now that I’ve made known to you all of my Fathers thought

For I chose you and commission you to be my witness and go forth,…and… CH
