Here are my Hands

“Peace be with you” said Jesus Christ,

“Here are my hands, here is my side, I am alive.

And I say again, peace be with you my friends.

As the Father sent me, so I’m sending you. Receive the Spirit!”

Filled with joy they were when they saw their Lord

In that locked room in Jerusalem

But Thomas was not with them,

He said” I will not believe, until His wounds I can touch them”

Eight days thereafter, Jesus re-appeared

Said to Thomas, “My friend, come over here.

“Here are my hands, here is my side, I am alive.

And I say again, peace be with you my friend”

“You believe ‘cause you see me

Happy are those that don’t,…and still believe!”
