Today I caught a furry mouse,
I called him Fuzzy Tim!
But when that mouse trap slammed so tight,
I guess that silenced him!
Poor Tim, poor Tim, I guess that silenced him!

Today I caught a wiggley worm,
I called him Brown And Yella!
But when I put him on a hook,
A fish ended the old fella!

Today I caught a scaly fish.
I called him Red Fin Fred!
But as I ate him for my dinner.
Poor scaly Fred is dead!

Today I caught a caterpillar,
I called him Rin Tin Tin!
Bu t when accidently I stepped on him,
He was looking rather thin!
